worst restaurants

Too often we take our bad experiences home with us without ever dear complaining to those who should be held accountable.
Here in New Zealand the hospitality industry has had the luxury of thriving in a non competitive environment. Now don`t get me wrong, there are too many restaurants however the majority of them are average to say the least, so when you get 4000+ average restaurants, you do not really have a competitive environment. Put 1 excellent restaurant in the neighbourhood and all of a sudden everyone else in that neighbourhood are forced to pick up their game.
My point? If we start hi-lighting those that are complacent and do not provide the service to reflect the price, we should take then to task. The only way to do that is to air their dirty laundry in public.
If your not going to improve the level of service or the quality of the food either shut down or lower your prices.
I invite you to post the name of a restaurant that has failed your expectations here on this blog. Trust me, there are plenty.
Personally, I would rather have 2 good restaurants in my neighbourhood than 10 below average ones. If I want below average, I will do take aways
